The 2013 Annual USC Trauma, Emergency Surgery
and Surgical Critical Care Symposium
The 20th Annual USC Acute Care Surgery Symposium, hosted by our Division, is one of the largest surgical conferences and the largest trauma conference on the West Coast. A guest- and host-faculty of more than 40 trauma/critical care experts deliver cutting-edge lectures, high-caliber plenary sessions, provocative panel discussions, and inspiring keynote addresses.
Approximately 500 participants receive a balanced approach towards time-honored evidence-based medicine principles and innovative thought-provoking elements of trauma, acute care surgery and surgical critical care.
The Symposium is a premier forum for continuing education and CME credits for physicians, nurses, and health-care-related personnel.
The Symposium takes place during spring time at the fabulous Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa, in Pasadena, CA. Only minutes away from Old Pasadena, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Universal Studios, Disneyland, Santa Monica, and the California beaches, Pasadena offers a huge variety of entertainment opportunities. Golf and tennis courts, historic sites, colorful gardens, world-class restaurants, and a vibrant night-life ensure an unforgettable stay.
The strong scientific program, the impressive hotel setting, and the charms of Southern California in the spring attract a large audience. The Symposium is usually fully booked and latecomers may be disappointed.
