SELECTIVE PROGRAM - JUNIOR SENIOR CONTINUUM CLASS OF 2006/2007

Each student is required to schedule 16-weeks of selective clerkships from the approved Selective Clerkship List (see below) during the junior/senior continuum. Each student must schedule a four-week clerkship from the Selective A list and a four-week clerkship from the Selective B list. The remaining selective requirement can be met by scheduling TWO additional four-week clerkships from the Selective B list or the Selective C list. Selective clerkships are a minimum of four-weeks in length and are under the direction of full-time USC faculty members at USC affiliated hospitals. See Selective Catalogue for additional information. You will be notified of new selective clerkships as they are added to these lists.

Students should submit completed petitions well in advance of each clerkship's start. Petitions must be received prior to the start of the clerkship in order to receive academic credit; work completed before a signed petition has been received in the Office of Student Affairs will not be counted towards satisfaction of selective or elective graduation requirements.
