Anal Reconstructive Surgery

This encompasses part of the field of proctology, which all of our surgeons have particular expertise in. There are a number of reasons why the anus may need reconstructing. Obstetric or birth trauma, prior surgery in the area, incontinence, and congenital or birth defects are just a few reasons. Our surgeons specialize at diagnosing the nature of the problem and providing the most appropriate solution.

We offer a number of specialized reconstructive options that require specialist training. These include sphincteroplasty (or reconstruction of the damaged sphincter muscle), advancement flaps, and more. Call our office today to schedule a consultation.
