Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator - 1988

Ms. Abe's background includes a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California and a Diploma in Nursing from the Los Angeles County School of Nursing. Ms. Abe has 13 years of organ procurement and organ allocation experience, and certification from NATCO as a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator. Ms. Abe joined the USC Abdominal Organ Transplant Team in 1999.

Ms. Abe works with Dr. Selby and his team to oversee the clinical activities of the USC kidney transplant program. She is responsible for developing clinical protocols for pre- and post-transplant patients and for direct patient care.
