Rose Hamm, MPT

Rose Hamm, MPT, is a Clinical Faculty member for the USC Department of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1969 and received her M.P.T. form the University of Southern California in 2001. Currently she is pursuing a Post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy at USC.

Rose is a Physical Therapist and Clinical Instructor at USC-University Hospital. Previous work experience includes staff therapist at Casa Colina Rehab Center in Lomita, CA; Director of Rehabilitation Services at Bay Harbor Hospital in Harbor City, CA; Supervisor of Out-patient and Wound Care Services at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. She is completing the production of an educational interactive CD, "The Give and Take of Wound Care," scheduled for distribution in the spring of 2003.

A Certified Wound Specialist by the American Academy of Wound Management, Rose currently provides in-patient and out-patient wound care for patients with vascular, neuropathic, and surgical wounds. She is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, the American Physical Therapy Association, and the California Chapter of the APTA.
