Max R. Gaspar, M.D. was an attending surgeon at the Los Angeles County+University of Southern California Medical Center for over fifty years, and served as Chief of Vascular Surgery at LAC+USC for twenty-five years. His teaching and scholarly accomplishments have had a lasting impact on vascular surgery in Southern California. This annual symposium, which honors Dr. Gaspar, addresses a specific topic of interest to surgeons, internists and family practitioners who care for the patient with vascular disease.
