Alice Marin, BSN, CNOR, RNFA
Alice Marin, BSN, CNOR, RNFA, is a Registered Nurse working in surgery as part of the Vascular Surgical Team. She graduated from East Los Angeles College with an A.S. in Nursing and received her BSN from the University of Phoenix. In the Fall, of this year, she will begin the Master’s Nurse Practitioner Program through the UCLA’s School of Nursing.
Prior to joining the team at USC-University Hospital, Alice worked primarily with Cardiac Surgical Patients at Glendale Memorial Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles. She received her OR training at LAC-USC Medical Center and completed the course for Registered Nurse First Assistant through UCLA.
Alice’s role as the Vascular Surgical RNFA primarily involves coordinating the surgical patient’s intraoperative course through collaboration with Anesthesia Care Providers, Nursing, Surgical Residents, and Attending Surgeons. During surgery, she plays an active role in the surgical procedure as directed by the Attending Surgeon. Working in a teaching institution, Alice is involved in teaching the medical students, interns, and residents, as well as the new OR nurses.
Alice is a member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses as well as the Cardiothoracic and RNFA Specialty Assemblies.
