Chyrle Whalen, RN, BSN, PHN, is the clinical coordinator for Dr. Weaver here at USC. She has been a practicing registered nurse for twenty four years. Chyrle graduated for Los Angeles County School of Nursing in 1979. Chyrle has extensive experience as a critical care nurse and has been certified in that capacity since 1983. Chyrle completed her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing in June of 2002. She will begin graduate school for her Masters Degree in Nursing in February of this year with an associated Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, which will certainly increase her effectiveness with her patients within the vascular division.

Chyrle is a strong patient advocate and brings a unique sense of humor to work with her. She loves what she is doing with the vascular patients and learns something new daily.

Chyrle is currently a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, The Society of Vascular Nursing and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing.
