Curriculum Vitae - Roy D. Kohl, MD

Dr. Kohl holds the title of Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery, Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He earned his MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. in 1968 and completed a residency in surgery at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center in 1973. He also completed a vascular surgery fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center 1973-1974, and has been a voluntary attending physician at LAC+USC Medical Center since 1975, prior to joining the University of Southern California faculty full time in 1999.

Dr. Kohl is certified by the American Board of Surgery with added qualifications in general vascular surgery. He is a member of the International Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, Society of Graduate Surgeons, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, Western Vascular Society, Pacific Coast Surgical Association, and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
