Dr. Koh is a surgeon-scientist in the Division of Pediatric Urology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the USC Institute of Urology. He is a principal investigator in the Developmental Biology, Regenerative Medicine, and Surgery Program at the Saban Research Institute at CHLA, as well as an associate member of the Genitourinary Cancers Research Program, USC / Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, where his lab is investigating bladder development and wound healing pathways and the use of stem cells for bladder tissue engineering purposes. He has received NIDDK / NIH funding for his research as well as several foundation research grants, including an American College of Surgeons Faculty Research Fellowship. He is also the director of the CHLA Robotic Surgery Program, and a founding Co-Director of the Southern California Center for Technology and Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP).
