Reza Nabavian M.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Keck-USC School of Medicine, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His clinical areas of expertise include Acute Burns, Burn Reconstruction, Wound Care, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
Dr. Nabavian is attending staff at Los Angeles County-USC Regional Burn Center. He is also the Director of Aesthetic Surgery Education at USC where he leads an effort to train future plastic surgeons who are proficient in aesthetic surgery and understand the ethical ramifications of the specialty. His research interests include stem cell derived tissue regeneration and structural fat grafting. Dr. Nabavian has special expertise in the use of fat cells for correction of deformities as well as in facial rejuvenation.
Recently, Dr. Nabavian has helped coordinate an international medical aid effort to deliver wound care and rehabilitation at St. Damien pediatric hospital in Haiti.
