Student Surgical Interest Group (SSIG) Workshops
Each workshop listed below is offered twice during the year for a total of 16 workshops hosted by the Skills Center for the SSIG. Advanced Anatomy & Surgical Skills
The USC Surgical Resident Readiness Elective is aimed to prepare fourth year medical students with the skills and anatomy knowledge needed for surgical internship. USC Surgery I Clerkship Experiences
Third year medical students rotating on the surgery clerkship participate in 5 skills labs: a Suture Lab, Catheter Lab, and Procedure Lab, Mechanical Ventilation Simulation, and an Advanced Dissection and Tissue Handling lab at the Surgical Skills Center at the laboratories of the Surgical Skills Simulation and Education Center.
