We have been the first in California to pioneer single-port laparoscopy, in which minimally invasive procedures are performed through one port hidden in the umbilicus. The result is an invisible scare. More than 50 removal of gallbladders were perfomed safely using this method. Single-port robotic surgery is also in our immediate focus.
Our program has graduated more than 25 fellows in Minimally Invasive Surgery, and all have had a great post-graduate career.
